I have many, many happy memories of hanging out and helping my father in his garden growing up. And now my kids love hanging out in his garden! They love pulling up the carrots, and harvesting the many fruits and veggies.
I’m excited to have my dad – one of my favorite gardeners – share one of his tips in today’s blog post.
Tomato Tips
To prevent tomato-leaf blight, water plants from below and keep foliage as dry as possible.
Also, to keep plants moist, mulch with grass clippings or straw. Since your grass clippings are surely free of broadleaf killer or any chemicals, you can be reassured that nothing harmful will carry over to the tomato plants.
